Free: the everyday audit trail

The free plugin records previous and new values for products, quantities, prices, addresses, status, shipping, fees, coupons, taxes and notes, together with the staff member, the reason and where the change came from. It can require reasons for manual edits and warn before financial changes to paid orders.

Pro: review workflows for teams

Pro is a separate extension on top of the free plugin. It adds order locks and configurable edit rules, approval requests with reviewer decisions, reports with filtered CSV exports, email and webhook notifications, history integrity checks and retention tools, and restore for supported fields.

Good to know

An order total is not a payment: editing a paid order does not collect the difference or refund the customer, so review payment and fulfilment separately in WooCommerce. History starts when auditing is enabled.
